I designed my very first handheld chuppah for Lindsey and Jason’s destination wedding on the Agean coast last year. I wanted to create a handheld chuppah that looked like one of my free-standing chuppahs- one that would be intricate, dramatic and great-looking from all sides- in short, something I’d never seen before. It also had to be easy to transport and assemble. After months of prototyping, I had created an innovative new chuppah. A big thank you to Lindsey and Jason for inspiring my new and growing line of handheld chuppahs, and also thank you to Jackie, one the first Chuppah Studio brides, for sending Lindsey and Jason my way.
